Marvel is developing a show based on Ms. Marvel. British writer Bisha K. Ali will write the series and act as showrunner. Ali is currently a staff writer on Hulu's remake Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Marvel Studios introduced Captain Marvel in 2019. The mantle of Ms. Marvel was once used by Carol Danvers, who is now Captain Marvel.

Ms. Marvel the series may be announced during Friday's Disney+ presentation.

Ms. Marvel has been around since 1976. The newest iteration is what the show will be focusing on. The new incarnation is about a Pakistani-American teenager named Kamala Khan. Khan was Marvel's first Muslim character to lead her own comics title. While living with her religious family in New Jersey, Khan is out trying to find her way. Khan's powers give her the ability to stretch and change her shape.

No timetable has been set for the Ms. Marvel series on Disney+. Although it is worth noting that the Disney+ series will cross over with the films of the MCU. So, there is a good chance down the line you'll be seeing Kamala Khan on the big screen.
